Petra Miklaužić

Lecturer – Wine Class

Petra Miklaužić is an expert in the fields of oenology, winemaking, sommelier studies and wine & gastronomy, with over 10 years of relevant experience combining work in the real wine sector with adult education and teacher training within the public education system.

Since 2019, she has been actively involved in adult education, focusing on oenology, winemaking, sommelier studies, wine & gastronomy, and food and wine pairing. During this period, she obtained the WSET Level 3 certification and has also participated in the organisation and implementation of field-based education, with a strong emphasis on practical insight into viticulture and winemaking processes as well as wine regions.

In parallel with her educational work, she has been employed since 2015 as an Assistant to the Director at Miklaužić Winery, where she is involved in all key business segments — wine production, sales and marketing. Through this role, she has gained an in-depth understanding of the wine sector, from vineyard to market, as well as practical experience in the development and promotion of wine products.

She is actively involved in the Moslavačka Wine Road Association, where she has been responsible for project writing and implementation, as well as for organising meetings, festivals and promotional events aimed at increasing the visibility of Moslavina wines and local winemakers.

She has also participated in the implementation of specialised gastronomic workshops in cooperation with Croatian and international chefs, continuously connecting theoretical knowledge with practice and contemporary trends in gastronomy and wine culture.
