With the expert guidance of Kul IN guest chef, the students will prepare their own sushi and learn about and master the concept of sushi, the basic cuts and types of sushi, and methods of preparation. We will go through basic cutting techniques, as well as food processing techniques, preparation of side dishes and learn about the role of side dishes, as well as proper seasoning and finishing of dishes.

It is not necessary to have prior knowledge of sushi to participate.

In addition to the practical part, the chef will hold a lecture on sushi and the history of sushi, the culture of behavior around raw fish and the differences between Japanese sushi and “Western” sushi. After the lecture and demonstration, each student will independently prepare their own sushi in several ways under the guidance of the lecturer.
