Martina Marton
Martina belongs to a new generation of top pastry chefs who combine technical precision with a refined sense for flavor pairing and aesthetics. Her professional journey began quietly, but with a clear vision that led her from her first experiences in a small pastry shop to leading positions in some of the most esteemed kitchens in Croatia.
After completing her education at the Culinary Institute Kul IN in Sisak, Martina quickly found her place on the gastronomic scene. Her career took her through Zagreb, Opatija, and the island of Krk, where she built a reputation as a reliable, creative, and exceptionally precise professional. She particularly stood out as Head Pastry Chef at the renowned Plavi podrum restaurant in Volosko (JRE – Jeunes Restaurateurs), where she developed signature desserts inspired by local ingredients and contemporary techniques.
She further confirmed her talent in a hotel environment within the Falkensteiner Group, where she successfully led teams and balanced high standards with the dynamic demands of top-tier tourism and hospitality. In Zagreb, she continued her professional growth, taking on key roles in modern pastry concepts, the five-star boutique hotel Le Premier, and the restaurant Mano2 — ranked among the 50 best restaurants in the world — where her signature style became recognized for its visual elegance and balance of flavors.
Today, Martina creates desserts that are not merely the sweet ending to a meal, but an experience in their own right. Her work reflects dedication, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for pastry, rightfully placing her among the prominent names of the Croatian gastronomic scene.
